PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
The hot bending sintered stone basin is a premium, sculptural fixture that merges advanced material technology with elegant design. Crafted from sintered stone—a surface made by compressing natural minerals at extremely high temperatures—it undergoes a precise thermal forming (hot bending) process to achieve smooth, seamless curves that traditional methods cannot replicate.
This process results in a monolithic basin with flowing contours and no visible joints, offering a minimalist and refined aesthetic. The surface is non-porous, highly durable, and resistant to stains, heat, scratches, and chemicals—making it ideal for daily use in modern bathrooms.
Combining the beauty of natural stone with the performance of engineered materials, the hot bending sintered stone basin stands as a symbol of craftsmanship, innovation, and timeless style.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Sintered Stone Basins
Sintered stone is a premium surface material known for its beauty, durability, and low maintenance. To preserve the integrity and appearance of your sintered stone basin, follow this detailed guide covering daily care, stain treatment, preventive measures, and long-term maintenance.
🧼 1. Daily Cleaning
✔ What to Do:
-
Use a soft cloth, non-abrasive sponge, or microfiber towel.
-
Clean with warm water and a pH-neutral detergent (e.g., dish soap).
-
Gently wipe the surface, rinse with clean water, and dry with a cloth to prevent water spots.
❌ Avoid:
-
Abrasive scouring pads or steel wool.
-
Alkaline or acidic cleaners (e.g., drain openers, rust removers).
-
Waxes, sealants, or polish (they are unnecessary for sintered stone).
🧴 2. Stain Removal Guide
Sintered stone resists staining, but some substances may leave surface residues. Use the table below for specific cleaning approaches:
| Stain Type | Examples | Cleaning Method |
|---|---|---|
| Organic stains | Coffee, tea, wine, toothpaste | Warm water + pH-neutral soap; rinse and wipe dry |
| Grease & oils | Lotions, soap scum, oils | Degreasing cleaner or diluted vinegar solution |
| Hard water stains | Lime scale, mineral deposits | White vinegar (1:1 with water), let sit 5 min, rinse thoroughly |
| Cosmetic products | Makeup, hair dye | Non-abrasive household cleaner; for dyes, use diluted alcohol |
| Ink or marker | Pen, permanent marker | Isopropyl alcohol or acetone (test in small area first) |
Always rinse thoroughly after using any cleaner.
🛑 3. Preventing Damage
🔪 Scratches & Abrasions
-
Sintered stone is scratch-resistant, but avoid sharp impacts.
-
Don’t cut directly on the surface.
💥 Thermal Shock
-
The surface is heat-resistant, but avoid extreme temperature changes.
-
Do not pour boiling water directly into a cold basin or vice versa.
⚠️ Chemical Exposure
-
Avoid long-term contact with:
-
Hydrofluoric acid
-
Paint strippers
-
Highly acidic descalers
-
-
In case of accidental exposure, rinse immediately with water.
🧽 4. Deep Cleaning (Monthly)
Once a month, perform a deeper clean to remove any build-up:
-
Apply a non-abrasive cream cleanser.
-
Use a soft sponge to gently scrub in circular motions.
-
Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
-
Wipe dry to maintain surface shine.
♻️ 5. Sustainability & Long-Term Care
-
No sealing or polishing is required—sintered stone is naturally non-porous.
-
It is UV-resistant and won’t fade or discolor over time.
-
With proper care, the basin will maintain its appearance for decades.
📝 6. Quick Dos & Don’ts Summary
| ✅ DO | ❌ DON’T |
|---|---|
| Use mild soap and soft cloths | Use bleach, ammonia, or harsh acids |
| Rinse and dry the basin after use | Leave standing water or residue |
| Clean stains as soon as they occur | Scrub with abrasives or steel wool |
| Perform monthly deep cleans | Cut or hammer directly on the surface |
